NWeLearn 2011 Call for Proposals

The next NWeLearn Conference will be held in October at Clark College in Vancouver, WA.  I'm re-posting their call for proposals here.  This is a great bunch of people and a good opportunity for eLearning people to present.

Submit a proposal for a session at the 2011 NWeLearn Conference, to be held October 13 & 14 at Clark College’s Corporate Learning Center in Vancouver, WA!

Topics related to learning and teaching, especially with technology and at a distance are of interest.   For best priority, please submit your proposal by May 31, 2011.  Submit your proposal on the Call for Proposals page.  Do it now!  Don’t wait!

We are excited to announce Susan M. Zvacek, Ph.D., Director of Instructional Development and Support at the University of Kansas as the keynote speaker.  The subject of her keynote will be Assessing Learning Gains using Online Tools.  I’m looking forward to it!  She will also be giving a workshop: Teaching Partially Clothed: For Those Not Ready for Naked. (I’m sure the title is metaphorical, but how can you resist?).  For more info, and a short bio of the speaker, check out the NWeLearn web site.

Also, watch for upcoming webinars from NWeLearn!  The next scheduled is in early June, although we may have one in May also.
